Abstract: Based on characters, such as scales on rhizomes, paraphyses in sori, leaves, rhizomes and stipes, the genus Lepisorus is divided into 6 sections. They are Sect. Lepisorus, Sect. Pleioomma S. L. Yu, Sect. Sclerophyllon S. L. Yu, Sect. Macrophyllon S. L. Yu, Sect. Pachyphyllon S. L. Yu and Sect. Hymenophyton Ching.
