Abstract: There are about 18 species of Poria hitherto known from China. In the present paper 37 species are reported, of which 27 are new records to China. So at present the genus has a total of about 45 species known to China. The specimens examined were collected from 9 provinces during the past ten years, The generic delimitation in the present paper is taken in the sense of Overholts (1942) and Lowe (1946) and identification of species is chiefly based on their works. All the materials cited are deposited in the Mycological Herbarium of the Institute of Microbiology, Academia Sinica, Peking.
