Abstract: Neottia taibaishanensis P. H. Yang & K. Y. Lang from Shaanxi, China, is described and illustrated. The new species is similar to N. acuminata Schltr. in habit, but differs by the plant being nearly grey-black, the inflorescence axis appressed silvery-grey villose, the sepals, petals and labellum grey-black yet margin grey-white, and the labellum broadly obovate or suborbicular, and apex mucronate.
