Rubus wuchuanensis S. Z. He, a new species of the Rosaceae from Guizhou, China

Abstract: A new species of the genus Rubus (Rosaceae) from Wuchuan County, Guizhou Province, China, R. wuchuanensis S. Z. He, is described and illustrated. The new species is similar to R. wuzhianus L. T. Lu & Boufford in habit, but differs by having leaves ovate-lanceolate, margin sparsely serrulate, petioles 0.7–1 cm long, inflorescences racemose, terminal and lax, 8–10-flowered, pedicels 3.5–5 cm long, and petals abruptly apiculate at apex.
