Abstract: The present paper reports four new species of Chinese marine red algae belonging to Gigartinales and Rhodymeniales. They are Tenaciphyllum xishaense Xia et Wang, Cryptarachne reticulata Xia et Wang, Fauchea xishaensis Xia et Wang and Rhodymenia hainanensis Xia et Wang.
