Abstract: Based on the study of Chinese specimens, Pyrularia bullata Tam, P. inermis Chien and P. sinensis Wu are recognized as new synonyms of P. edulis ( Wall. ) A. DC. Dendrotrophe frutescens( Champ. ex Benth. ) Danser var.subquinquenervia(Tam )Tam is reduced to D. frutescens (Champ. ex Benth. ) Denser.
